Arizona State University friends and fellow staffers of Frances Mery Larson (seated center) gathered to honor her with a farewell dinner at Fiesta Inn, Thursday night. The Graduate College, Research Grants and Contracts administrative assistant will retire at the end of this week and will be leaving soon for Kentucky. Sharing pleasant memories with her above are (seated l and r) George A. Boyd, original organizer of the Office of Research Grants and Contracts and retired associate director of ASU Center for Meteorite Studies; Dr. Charles M. Woolf, dean of Graduate College and vice president, Graduate Studies and Research; (standing l and r) Dr. William J. Burke, chemistry professor and former vice president and dean of the Graduate College; and Dr. Harold B. Hunnicutt, assistant vice president and director, Office of Research Grants and Contracts.
