BiographyCame to Tempe in 1922.
Professor of Spanish and Foreign Languages at Arizona State Teachers College/Arizona State University, 1922-1966; and chairman of the Foreign Language Department, 1949-1955.
Earned her AB degree at University of Montana, and Ph.D. at Columbia University.
One of the founders of the Vesta Club of Phoenix.
Founder of Los Conquistadores and Los Hidalgos (campus Spanish language clubs).
The government of Spain honored her by presenting her with the award of Lazo de Dama de La Orden Del Merito Civil.
Lived at 2116 Ventura Drive. In 1923, 1925, '26, '29, '30, '31 lived at 105 E 9th.
