BiographyFarmer.
Arrived in Tempe on July 4, 1888. After taking a course at the Territorial Normal School (c1892), he took up farming on a 160-acre homestead south of Tempe, in the Kyrene district, where he also had an apiary of nearly 200 colonies of bees. Owned land near Kyrene in 1900. In the fall of 1909, he moved to Tempe, where he was Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds at the Territorial Normal School in 1925 and until the time of his death. Member of the I.O.O.F. (Odd Fellows) and Knights of Pythias.
