BiographyAttorney.
Enrolled at the Territorial Normal School in 1888, and graduated in 1893. Received his law degree from the University of Colorado in 1896.
Opened a law practice in Phoenix, c1896, and later in Tempe, which he continued until his retirement in 1947.
In 1922 sold insurance with Perry & Co. Organizer and Vice president of Tempe National Bank in the early 1900s , 1923, and 1925; [and 1921, 1923, 1925 President of Tempe National Bank in 1926, 1927, '28 , '29 , '30, '31, '32 at Tempe 5 NstlBank Bldg.
Attorney for the Tempe Irrigating Canal Company.
Served as City Attorney for Tempe.
Business partner with E. W. Hudson and Phil Tovrea in ranching, cotton, and cottonseed oil business.
He was a member of the Tempe Normal School Board of Education, 1914-1921, and was a member of the Normal School Alumni Association, having served three terms as president (1900-1902 and 1911-1912).
Member of the Masonic Lodge; he had served as Master of the Tempe Lodge No. 15, and was Grand Master of the Arizona Chapter in 1917; he also served on the Board of Trustees of the Arizona Grand Chapter of the Masonic Order.
Member of Scottish Rite.
President of the Arizona Bankers Association in 1935.
Lived on 8th Street, c1910-1924.
Lived at 806 S. Maple Avenue in 1921, 1923,'25, '26, '28, '29, '30, '31, '32. Vice Pres pf Southern Oil & Refining Co in 1924. Attny atrLaw at 5 Tempe Natl Bank Bldg in 1926
