BiographyProfessor of Biology, ASTC/ASU, 1941-c1975.
Came to Arizona in 1928 and taught at Mesa High School, 1928-1940. He also worked as a bookkeeper, librarian and accountant.
He became a Biology Professor at ASTC in 1941. He became head of the Division of Life Sciences, and founded the Poisonous Animals Research Laboratory, a leading producer of anti-venom serum for scorpion stings.
Received an AA degree from LaGrange College in Missouri in 1926, a BS degree from the University of Arizona in 1934, and a Ph.D. from Iowa State College in 1939. Author of "Bionic Principals," a 650-page textbook. Member of American Association for the Advancement of Science, Sigma Xi, and the Herpetological League.
