BiographyBaker, bakery owner.
He came to Arizona in 1900 with his mother and two siblings. Attended the Eighth Street School and Tempe High School. In 1912, at age 15, he started working in his father's business, the Vienna Bakery, at 415 S. Mill Avenue. In 1917 he was assistant manager, and subsequently took over ownership of the bakery, which he operated until his retirement in 1962. In 1930, '31 ,'32 wife was Edith.
Private, U.S. Army, World War I.
Member of the American Legion.
Lived on Mill Avenue in 1910; lived at 514 Myrtle Avenue 1921, at 110 E. 6th in 1923, and at 603 S. Roosevelt Street. In 1925 lived at 110 E 6th. And at 319 [914] Forest Ave in 1926, '28. In 1930 lived at 710 Mill Ave.
