DescriptionFuller sixth grader Matt Olson (front right) got lots of fatherly advice from the salesmen as he browsed through Tempe Sunrise Kiwanis Club's Christmas Tree lot looking for a tree for his family. Giving Matt the "old sales pitch" (from left) are Lynn Manlove, Larry Wheaton, Sunrise KC Vice President Duane Dawson, tree project chairman Ken Lewis and Alex Arredondo. The club will be out to sell about 500 plantation firs, sized from four feet on up, during their annual sale, taking place on the Safeway center lot at 805 East Baseline Road. The lot will be open from 1 to 9 p.m. daily until Christmas. The sign in the background tells some of the uses Sunrise Kiwanians will make of money raised from the project.
