DescriptionTempe Daily News 12/14/1977...retiring Volunteer Firefighter Henry Hammer (left), who has given 25-plus years of service to the city's volunteers, and newly-retired Tempe Fire Chiefr Bill Hanna (right), who started Tempe's paid Fire Department, wound up with a lot more than the Ladmo Bags they're being presented by Ladmo. Hanna recieved a pistol from TFD crew and Hammer was equally well rewarded for his years of service.
