DescriptionThis chair has two rectangular front legs (marlborough shape), which taper at the bottom. There are two rectangular vertical stiles which taper towards the top and bottom. There is one squared stretcher on all sides except the front and one squared cross stretcher from left to right. The seat frame is made up of four pieces of wood and the frame is secured underneath with four triangular wood pieces, attached with three screws each. Imitation leather covers a wooden seat. There is a plain spat that curves out slightly at the bottom and is attached to the seat frame and crest rail with mortise and tenon joints. The crest rail is curved on both sides of where the splat attaches.
