DescriptionThis chair, one of a set of three, has two block and vase turned front legs and two vertical stiles from foot to crest. There is one stretcher on both the left and right side and a cross stretcher between the two. The seat frame is comprised of four pieces of wood. The front of the seat frame is scalloped. The top of the seat is upholstered in needlepoint which is green with center flowers. Under the seat there are four support pieces of wood nailed to the seat frame. The bottom rail is scalloped and the splat is vase shaped. The crest rail is scalloped at the top. All joints are mortise and tenon.
