Came to Arizona in 1919; moved to the Kyrene District in 1925.
Held many positions, including Chief Clerk for the Salt River Valley Water Users Association in the 1920s; Assistant Manager of the telephone company in Phoenix in the 1930s; Director of rehabilitation for the federal government during Franklin Roosevelt's administration; Manager of Arizona Flour Mills, retired in 1940.
Served as a 2nd Lieutenant , 95th Depot Service Company, ASC, in World War I.
Member of the American Legion.
Lived on a ranch southwest of Tempe in 1940.
