BiographyTeacher.
Came to Arizona, c1886.
Attended Rural School and Tempe High School, and graduated from Tempe Normal School in 1904.
Taught for nine years at Rural School and at the Eighth Street School.
While a school teacher, she assisted her brother, Postmaster J. O. Mullen, at the Tempe post office.
Worked with her husband, Garfield Goodwin, in the family-operated Railway Express Agency and the Goodwin Indian Store.
Member of Tempe Women's Club, Tempe Garden Club, Altrusa Club,
Member of the Arizona State Teachers College Board of Education in 1944, and later, member of the Arizona Board of Regents.
Lived at 116/118 E. 6th Street, c1910-1913. Lived at 247 E 8th in 1921, '25, -'26, -'28 . In 1931, -'32 lived at 930 Mill Ave. See also: Garfield A. Goodwin.
