Came to Arizona c1896.
Graduated from Arizona State Teachers College.
Became Tempe reporter for the Arizona Republican, c1913, and Tempe manager for the Arizona Republican,
c1914-1916. Later became manager of the circulation and state advertising departments for the newspaper. Retired in 1964. Moved to Mesa.
President of the Arizona State College Alumni Association for three years, c1950.
Ran for Governor in 1956 and received the Republican nomination but lost in the general election.
Member of the Phoenix Rotary Club, ASU Alumni Association, American Legion, Masonic Lodge, and Order of Eastern Star.
Lived on 6th Street in 1910.
Lived at 10th Street and Willow (College), 1911.
Lived on Maple Avenue between 6th and 7th streets, 1913.
Lived at 818 S. Mill Avenue, c1914-1916.
