DescriptionThis medallion arm chair has two drake feet on two saber like carved legs. At the back, one piece of wood has been used to create both legs and curved back. The back legs taper outwards towards the bottom, whilst the wood forming the back is molded and scrolled. The seat frame is circular all the way around. At the front there is a large groove in the wood, which seems to extend from the carvings on the legs. A heavily padded seat is attached to the frame. The fabric consists of green velvet. A gimp of a similar color is secured around the bottom of the fabric. Ornate carved arm supports extend from the front legs and are molded and scrolled. There is green fabric on the arm rests. The arm rests attach to the back. There is also green velvet on the back rest with a green gimp. A piece of wood is attached to the curved back towards the bottom of the back rest to complete the medallion back.
