DescriptionThis hall chair has two front legs which are made out of bamboo and extend above the seat. The back stiles are also made of bamboo and there is one bamboo stretcher on each side of the chair. On the left and right side there are two pieces of bamboo which cross and at the back bamboo has been arranged into a 'V' shape. At the front there is a bamboo heart shape and diagonal bamboo pieces (there are two missing). The seat frame consists of four pieces of bamboo which are attached to the front legs and stiles. The seat consists of a piece of wood with cane on top. Bamboo arm rests are attached to the top of the front legs and to the stiles. There are two pieces of crossing bamboo underneath the arm supports. There is a horizontal piece of bamboo just above the seat and another a third of the way up. In between, bamboo has been arranged into a star shape although one piece is missing. Above this is another arrangement with a bamboo leaf in the center and above this wood is covered in cane. There is a beveled mirror in the center with a bamboo frame. There are four bamboo flowers on the cane. There is a bamboo crest rail above this which is curved. There are three bamboo hooks on each stile although one is missing.

This chair has pieces missing and is a little unstable.
