DescriptionBeige & red cloth armband with a Red Cross sewn in and "Neutralidad California" stitched in red. A United Spanish War Veterans Honorary Member medal is also attached. The armband belonged to Dr. Fenn Hart, Tempe's first mayor. He served in the Spanish-American War in the National Guard, Company C in the Philippines for ten months. Here he was in charge of a Red Cross unit.Status
