BiographyArrived in Arizona c1879.
Building contractor, carpenter.
In 1877, he went to New Mexico, where he worked on the construction of the great Raton
Tunnel. In 1879, he moved to Arizona, where his sister, Elizabeth Cosner Cummings, had previously located, near Tempe. He was known as "Uncle Buck." In 1889, he lost three children, all to diphtheria.
Served eleven years on the Tempe Grammar School Board of Trustees, and was chairman in 1909.
Member of Woodmen of the World.
