DescriptionThis chair has two rockers and two sausage turned front legs which are attached with doweled joints. There are also two sausage turned stiles, which are also attached to the rockers with doweled joints. There are two plain stretchers on both the left and right side and one on the back and front. The seat frame consists of four pieces of wood with burlap on the bottom of the seat. Maroon fabric has been pinned onto a yellow/brown fabric on the top of the seat. Nails and staples hold the fabric onto the frame. There is a slightly curved bottom and center rail and a wider, slightly curved crest rail. The rails are attached to the stiles with mortise and tenon joints.
