BiographyCame to Arizona in 1876.
Rancher, farmer, landlord, and businessman.
As a young man, grew sugar cane on 10 acres near 1st Street and Roosevelt, a crop which produced 6000 lbs. of sugar and syrup.
Partner with Fogal and Wilson, Draymen.
He was associated with the Hotel Casa Loma.
In 1901 bought 40-acre ranch from George Compton.
He owned 9 acres in section 16, in 1924. In 1936, 1938 was a cattle feeder.
Tempe City Councilman, 1902-1908, 1912-1916, and 1930-1932.
He also served on the Tempe school board, and was a member of the Tempe High School Governing Board, c1920. In 1921 was a director of the Board ofEducation of the Hjgh School.
He lived at 106 E. 5th Street in 121, -'23, -'26, 106 E 5th in 1928, '29, '31, '32.
